Graphics
Until I recently migrated to Blender, I was extensively using PovRAY. It is a raytracer which works with script files as inputs.
Many people around me think about this method of modeling as pure masochism compared to classic graphical environments featured in other systems. I found it suited my software geek vision of having complex elements created from small macros which can be later re-used and organized in libraries.
Below are a few samples of my works…
This Strange Engine

It is a model of the mechanic featured on the sleeve of Marillion’s “This Strange Engine” album.
I created this scene to enter the Internet Ray Tracing Competition (IRTC) in February 2003.
Lego Models
These are models based on original plans of late 70’s lego space boxes. I played with the originals when I was a kid !
